Thanks to our wild crazy boisterous two year old we came up with the idea of the Car Window Safety Lock. This came after many car journeys where he would wind down the window whilst strapped in his seat using his feet.
This was very annoying when you’re driving because of weather be it cold or raining or hot when you have the air conditioning on but the worst thing is when he throws things out of the window!
A few weeks ago we had just taken him for some new shoes from Clark’s which he wanted to wear, driving down the motorway, he wound down the window and threw one out which I didn’t discover until we arrived at our destination.
We have searched and searched the internet for something to solve this problem and been in numerous discussion threads in mum’s groups etc and many many parents have the same issue and the only solution they/we are offered is remove the winder? Personally, if I did this, the hole where the handle was would be full of all kinds of snacks and also I would think I’d put the handle somewhere safe BUT I know I wouldn’t be able to find it when the shoe out of the window phase was over. Not to mention this would be dangerous!
This is when we had the idea for the Car Window Safety Lock. It is such a simple product that solves this problem.
No more winding us up winding it down. Thank you our youngest son Drew for driving us mad and giving us the idea for the Car Window Safety Lock. We named the business after our two sons Drew and James (DruJam Ltd). DruJam Ltd is a Mummy and Daddy venture. We had the idea in August 2019 and are now ready to help other parents/carers who are having the same problem as we did.
